Yesterday, Jake (owner of Jake's Electric in Miami Beach) came to our house. We were so happy he could come on such short notice. The last few days we had a lot of trouble with our electricity going off and it was getting annoying, as we had to hook up his oxygen to the oxygen tank every time. So Jake and his daughter came over on Saturday to look at the job (they had to run electricity from the 5th to the 2nd floor (and cutting through our neighbor's ceiling). His daughter works in the hospital where Michael was born and persuaded her father to give this job priority (her father is Israeli, like mine). They worked ALL day with three people and Michael and I moved to our old condo on the third floor to be out of the dust and into the air conditioning. I put Michael on the floor on his belly and he turned around onto his back!!! I couldn't believe it!!!


We moved back upstairs at the end of the day and were happy this could be done on such short notice. That night, Jake called us and said that since we have been going through so much with Michael, he was going to return our check to us, and have us write him a new check less $200! That was so nice and completely unexpected! He actually came by today to return the check and Robert gave him a replacement check - minus $200!


Today was our first ped. appointment and Dr. Perello was very nice. He is going to read Michael's chart tonight (it's huge) and we will go back on Friday. He examined Michael and everything seemed to be okay. His stool is also getting better. (He still doesn't eat so good, that is not related to his stomach virus). He did gain weight, he is now 7 pounds, 11 ounces (he was discharged at 7 pounds, 7 ounces) and he is now 19 inches.


Thursday, our wonderful friend Claudia will come from Orlando to spend a week with us. I am looking forward to her company (and an extra set of hands) as Robert is going back to work tomorrow.
