It's the weirdest thing, but it's like Michael changed overnight!!! He is 1 year and 1 day old today and all of a sudden he is really jumping in his jumper. He is playing with all the toys, and turning around from side to side in the jumper (there are 4 sides with toys). It's so funny to watch. I'll try to video it one of these days. Also in his playpen, he turns on his side to play with his toys. I am so proud of him!!

Yesterday morning we had an appointment at the pediatrician for his 12 month shots. After an hour and a half wait, we re-scheduled for next week. He was 15 pounds, 14 ounces and 26 inches tall. On his birthday he was 1 pound, 4 ounces and 11 inches. He has come a long way!!! In the waiting room, there was a 4 month old baby sitting next to us. This baby looked bigger than Michael!! His head was bigger, his legs chunkier. It's so weird. Michael is growing steadily, but he is still such a little peanut :) However his body is totally proportional in my opinion.

Yesterday afternoon, we celebrated his birthday at home. Thanks to Dahlia, Björn, Rachel, Irene, Diego, Veronica, Patrick, Maria, Alberto, Natalia and Jose for joining us!!! Michael loved all the streamers and balloons. He definitely noticed something was different. We didn't get to give him his little pie with his candle because we waited for Robert to come home from work, and by that time, Michael was too tired. That's okay, we practiced blowing out a candle at auditory verbal therapy last week :)

Michael got a tricycle from Diego, Veronica and Patrick, so cute!!

Saturday we celebrated together with Uncle David, since his birthday was on Sunday. I hope to upload some more pictures of that celebration, once I get them from Josh who made some great pictures with his new camera.

We went shopping today and he is squealing very loudly all the time. People constantly stare at me, because they think he is crying. He is happy as can be though, and when people peek in the stroller, he gives everyone a huge smile!! He is such a flirt :)
