Monday we went to the Pulmonologist and we are clear. No more diuretics and only one more follow up (just to be sure) in 4 months!! We are so excited. Pretty remarkable when a child with severe BPD (broncho pulmonary dysplasia) does not have to go back to a Pulmonologist!!! WOW!! It means that his lungs have grown really well and the bigger his lungs get, the smaller the scarred area.
Tuesday we saw the Pediatrician for his 12 month vaccinations. He only got 1. The other ones will be given to him next week while he is getting his Synagis shot. The reason is because these shots could cause a fever, a week after they are given and that is during the time of his eye surgery. We got the clearance for his surgery and went to do the pre-registration on Thursday. I am really not looking forward to it, but his eye is so red all around, that I think it's better to get it over with and prevent future infection of his tear duct.
Wednesday we went to OT/ST and Maria had Michael on the swing. He loves the swing. It's more like playing than therapy :)
Nina had therapy after Michael and her grandmother was there as well. They gave Michael a birthday gift and they put him in the bag as if he was the gift. It was so funny!!! See the pictures!!
Today - Sunday - Robert, Michael and I went to Lincoln Rd and had some lunch. Michael was lounging with his father on the bench. He looked like such a big tiny peanut next to his daddy. I love the both of them so much!!!!
Please pray for us tomorrow morning, while Mikey has his surgery!!!

He's so cute! Gotta hate those vaccinations! But hey if it keeps them healthy right? We will be praying his eye surgery goes well.
I hope everything went well with the surgery and a prayer was sent up.
