We all got over our flu/viruses and feeling good!!

Last week we went to Sasha's birthday party. She is the big sister of Michael's friends Max and Noah. It was a lot of fun, but Michael was a little overwhelmed. There were about 30 kids!!! And so many toys that he didn't know where to begin.

Michael in a quiet spot, trying to understand what is going on around him with all these kids and toys!!
I think he is starting to like this place

He really likes all these balls and the girl jumping all over the balls :)

Noah and Max
Michael, Max and Noah had the room for themselves when all the other kids were eating pizza!!
Michael started out slowly, but at the end of the party he had a great time!!!

This week we had a little cold front in South Florida with temperatures in the 50's!!! It was so nice!! It was pretty cold with the wind and I was finally able to dress Michael in his Polo outfit he got from Claudia when he came home from the NICU. It was for 12-months and when she gave it to us, I never thought Michael was ever going to fit it :)

Yesterday was Halloween and we had so much fun!!
First we went to Auditory Verbal Therapy with Kathy and she took him Trick or Treating with their office staff. Michael loved dressing up. He cracked up when he saw himself in the mirror as a Giraffe. And when I put on my witch hat, he thought that was even funnier!!!
The Giraffe and the Scary Witch.
Michael was a giraffe because he saw one earlier this year at the sensory safari and he really liked it.
Michael painted Kathy's face (with a little bit of help of course)

Later that day (night) we went Trick or Treating in our neighborhood for the first time (last year we still lived in South Beach, and they don't Trick or Treat there)

We went with our neighbor Cole. He is 2 years old. The first house we went to was Michelle's.
This little Giraffe didn't want to stand up. Cole thought it was very interesting.

A family picture :)

Of course it started pouring!!! Michael got soaked and we had to take of his costume. Cole and his parents hung out at our place for a little bit until the rain cleared. Then they all continued down the street and I stayed home to give out candy. We had a fun night!!!

I also decorated our house a little with a ghost and spider webs (sorry for the dark picture):

Our neighborhood had some amazing decorations!! Such a shame that it rained so hard last night!!
